Dinner: But here at Kalapana Lava Refuge, it’s chef Scotty and his open-fire-pit dinners that really steal the show. Meat, fish, veggie, he can do it all in style — “Hawaiian Kine” family style, that is. We’ll get you started with pupus at the Tiki Bar, as the sun sets and the evening glow of the volcano begins to emerge. $25 per person.
Internet & Phone
Taking an adventure vacation doesn’t mean you have to be totally cut off from the outside world – unless you want to be. We do have limited broadband Internet service available by using our computer, but there is no local wi-fi service. Otherwise, we have limited telephone and no television service.
We do have limited cellphone reception here at the Refuge, but only for Verizon & ATT. We do have internet service at the Tiki Bar.
